Bowes In-Home Care accepts payment for services from Medicare, Worker’s Compensation, various private insurance plans, or private payment.
The following criteria are used to establish Medicare payment eligibility: Your doctor must decide that you need medical care
You must be homebound or unable to leave your home without assistance. Due to your illness or injury, leaving your home requires considerable difficulty and
You must require intermittent skilled nursing care, physical, speech-language, or occupational therapy.
Finally, the home care agency caring for you must be Medicare certified.
The Plan of Care describes the range of services needed to treat your health problem. We will coordinate with your physician to determine the services required, the appropriate healthcare professional, necessary equipment, and the frequency of services required. We will also ascertain the progress your physician expects.
The Plan of Care helps you to care for yourself and provides a clear plan for our staff. The goal is to provide specific care and education for you in managing your
health.
You will be assigned a Primary Clinician (Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist) to assess your condition and implement your Plan of Care.
Other members of the health staff including aids, social workers, and therapists may also become involved. Our staff is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to address your concerns.
